Evanston Right About Money is a media platform focused on the global effort to raise the financial know-how of individuals and promote financial wellness on a broad scale. Our goal is to inform thought leaders and those in the trenches of financial education about trends and best practices, and to advance their understanding of what works best and how to move more quickly towards a comprehensive solution.

Founder Dan Kadlec is a 30-year personal finance journalist. As a senior writer at Time magazine, his personal finance column appeared regularly for more than a decade. He is a past personal finance columnist for USA Today. Dan has three books and numerous other publishing credits that center on financial wellness. He has appeared on Oprah, Good Morning America and many other programs. As a Bank of Dad blogger for CBS and contributor to Time and Money, he pioneered major media coverage of financial literacy. He has been around the world reporting on and speaking about financial education.

More than 100 nations have programs to raise the financial capabilities of their citizens; thousands of public, private and nonprofit organizations are actively seeking answers. Yet there is little global leadership. Right About Money helps bring the far-flung financial literacy community together through news, opinion, data, and educational forums.
